Natasha Lewis Counselling was established in Croydon, August 2018 to offer people counselling in Croydon. Some of my clinical experience has been focused on helping to support people manage specific mental health needs such as Depression and Anxiety, supporting professionals and students with processing Work-Related and Study-Related issues and helping couples to process changes and challenges in their relationship.

Counselling Croydon
Counselling
Counselling is a space where a relationship is built between the counsellor and client in which the client feels safe enough to share their personal experiences and the challenges that they are facing from their past, in their present and about their future. In this space the client can process their internal and external conflicts, personal & professional challenges, and relationship problems with the support of their counsellor.
Relationship Counselling
Single Sessions (Individuals Only)
Single Sessions are for clients who may not want to commit to a full treatment of counselling and want more of an adhoc service. An individual client can have up to 3 single sessions in a year. This provides the opportunity for those who are not sure of the level of support they need to have time to talk through their issues. The most common reasons individuals use this service is if they have a work-related issue, unexpected distress, despair, incident, or trauma. The counsellor can then offer them an assessment of what may be happening with them and offer the necessary signposting or referrals.
My Approach
My approach is to build a good relationship with the client(s) by firstly providing them with a safe, warm and confidential environment. In this environment the client can learn to grow through processing their feelings and thoughts. This will empower the client(s) to gain better insight and understanding of themselves, others and the world around them.
I currently work with individuals and couples, ranging from adolescents, higher education students, working professionals and the retired. I also provide Counselling Consultation to organisations and Mental Health Mentoring to Higher Education students from Foundation to PHD level.
I have previous clinical experience working within the NHS IAPT Service for South London and Maudsley, Secondary & Higher Education, Community Mental Health, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) & Charities such as the Samaritans and Diabetes UK.
